What We Do

WHAT WE DO

PROBLEM

  • Our fees are lower and (in our view) fairer
  • Most wealth managers charge an explicit advisory fee of between 0.5% and 1% per annum of their customers’ money..
  • But it os not uncommon to find that total annual fees (advisory, custody, fund charges, etc.) come to more than 2% per annum
  • Many people are not aware of just how much they are paying
  • We believe that we can save money investors as much as 1% per
  • Our fees are lower and (in our view) fairer

ANALYSIS

  • We have negotiated very competitive transaction and custody fees with a number of banks for Courtville’s clients
  • Custody: 0.1% per annum
  • Transaction fees: 0.1% on all trades across all asset classes
  • These rates are significantly lower than most wealth
  • Managers and are close to rates paid by institutional investors

SERVICES

  • Our service is personal, our advice impartial
  • We will never have a large number of clients; and all our clients get as much attention as they either want or need
  • Unlike other firms, we don’t sell in-house products; we don’t represent any other financial services firm; and we have no sales targets
  • Our advice is completely impartial and is tailor-made for each client
  • We only take on a client that is likely to be better off with Courtville partners

CHARGE

  • We charge our customers a fixed advisory fee – that is, an absolute amount of money, not a percentage of their wealth
  • Our fees are fair and completely transparent
  • They are negotiated and agreed in advance, based on the amont of work we do for each client
  • Our minimum fee is £24,000 + VAT per annum, which equats to just 0.14% on a £20m portfolio
  • A typical 0.5% annual advisory fee on a $20m portfolio would cost £100,000
